Life OS

A private, local-first personal productivity system. Life OS helps its owner organize email, calendar events, tasks, routines, workouts, reminders, and other information that needs attention—all in one place.

Life OS is currently a private, single-user application operated by Flagstone Creative. It is not available for public registration or general use. This public page exists to explain the application and its use of Google services.

How Life OS uses Google data

When the owner connects a Google account, Life OS may:

• Read Gmail messages to identify potential tasks, deadlines, appointments, and messages that may need a response.

• Read Google Calendar events to display upcoming meetings and appointments.

• Create events only within a dedicated calendar created and managed by Life OS, and only after the owner approves the addition.

Life OS cannot send, edit, archive, or delete Gmail messages. It does not receive permission to modify the owner’s existing Google calendars.

Local-first privacy

Life OS runs locally on the owner’s Mac. OAuth credentials are stored in macOS Keychain, while the searchable email index and calendar metadata are stored locally in the Life OS application data folder.

Life OS does not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or make it available to data brokers or other third parties.

Life OS’s use of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
